FAQ

How much does a translation cost?

As each project is unique, my quotes are personalized.

My rates are competitive and reflect the high quality of my work.

To get your free quote without obligation, send me your document or a sample of your text by email to: contact@nativewordsbyelsa.fr

How do you guarantee the quality of your translation services?

To start with, I need to know as much as possible about your brand and your project so as to adapt my style accordingly.

I appreciate having a privileged contact within your structure to ask questions or seek clarification if necessary during the project.

I then carry out in-depth documentary and terminological research specific to your business sector.

I use specialized tools to ensure quality control (CAT software Trados Studio, Antidote among others).

And finally, I read (and read and read again) the translation before delivering it to you.

Should you request it, I can put you in touch with a trusted colleague for a proofreading service to ensure optimum quality of the final document.

If your project isn't up my alley, don't worry, I'll let you know!

What about your deadlines?

It all depends on the complexity of your document and its format, as well as my current workload. That's why I always ask to see the document before giving you a quote, so that I can accurately estimate the time needed to complete your project.

As far as possible, plan a sufficiently broad schedule to avoid stressful situations or the application of emergency fees. This will help me to provide you with the highest quality service.

What document formats do you work with ?

In general, translations are delivered in the same format as the original document.

Is your file in PDF format? Whenever possible, supply the original document in an "editable" format. This will reduce costs and delivery lead times.

Do you guarantee the confidentiality of my documents?

Absolutely. I am bound by an obligation of professional secrecy with regard to any information brought to my attention in the course of my work.

We can sign a non-disclosure agreement before we start working together.

Are you a sworn translator?

Not yet! This means I cannot work on certain types of official documents for which a sworn translation is required (such as birth certificates, driver’s licenses, diplomas, criminal records, and court judgments).

If you have specific needs for sworn translation, I encourage you to get in touch with sworn translators accredited by a Court of Appeal in France, noting that you are not obliged to request the services of those located in your city or region.

Is your company Qualiopi* certified?

Although my company is not yet Qualiopi certified, I want to reassure you: I work as a service provider with language centers that are Qualiopi certified. This means I can support you in carrying out your training projects while adhering to the requirements for public funding or OPCO** financing in France. You can thus benefit from quality expertise while accessing available funding options through my certified partners.

*Qualiopi certification is a French national quality certification for training providers, ensuring they meet certain standards to be eligible for public funding.

**OPCO is a French acronym for French organizations that manages and finances vocational training for employees and companies.
